Two experts who are helping Hollywood's A-list babies get their zzz's share the no-fail, family-friendly method that has helped thousands of sleep-deprived moms and dads.

Even Hollywood's biggest stars face the same dilemma as other parents do: "How do I get my child to sleep?" As parents in the know are finding, whether they're on the red carpet or the soccer field, the answer is the same: The Sleepeasy Solution.

Psychotherapists and sleep specialists Jennifer and Jill, the dynamic "girlfriends" all of Hollywood calls on to solve Junior's sleep problems, have perfected their sleep technique that will get any child snoozing in no time—most often in fewer than three nights. The key to their method? It addresses the emotional needs of both the parent and child (yes, how to handle the crying!)—a critical component of why most other sleep methods fail.

In this much-needed, family-friendly guide, weary parents will learn to define their own individual sleep goals, those that work for their family's schedule and style. They'll create a customized "sleep planner" to ensure consistency with both parents as well as extended caregivers. (As an added bonus, they'll even improve the readers' relationships with their spouses with the "marriage-saver" section.) With comprehensive sections devoted to each stage of Baby's and Toddler's development, plus solutions to special circumstances like traveling, daylight saving's time, moving to a "big kid bed" and multiples, The Sleepeasy Solution is a dream come true!

"This approach was truly amazing in helping our family to thrive. . . . We are eternally grateful!"
—Ben Stiller and wife, Christine Taylor, actors

"With their gentle approach, Sleepeasy gave us the tools we needed to solve our daughter's sleep problems."
—Conan O'Brien, host of NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien

"Sleepeasy gave us all the tools we needed to get our baby sleeping through the night. Now when we say good night to our daughter, we know it really will be a good night."
—Greg Kinnear, actor

  • After 14 Months, SLEEP

    By KStewLew
My child tricked us. She was an excellent sleeper until she was about 8 months old. After that she went from waking once a night to nurse to waking, sometimes, 5 or 6 times a night. Finally I threw up my hands, and hit the Google search for answers one more time. I found this book through a blog post, of a woman who seemed in a similar situation. I figured what's the harm in reading one more book on sleep training. We had tried almost every sleep training method out there, Cry It Out, No Cry, and even some kind of shuffle. NOTHING had worked. I was not opposed CIO, but we tried it when she was about 8 months old. She was so upset she threw up. So we trashed it and sore we'd just spend the rest of our lives sleeping in 4 hour shifts caring for our daughter. Reading this book convinced me to give this modified version of CIO another try. When using this method you can check in at set intervals and talk to your child (but not touch) to soothe him/her. This was perfect for someone overcoming pervious sleep training trauma. The first night sucked. But we stuck it out. She cried for about 40 minutes with 4 check-ins and the went to sleep. She woke twice throughout the night, but we felt more rested since we weren't up rocking her all night. The next day she cried 4 minutes before putting herself to sleep for her am nap, 12 min for her pm nap, and under 5 minutes when she went down for the night. And then the miracle of miracles occurred. She slept through the night without waking. It was magical. My husband and I were so exhausted after all of the months of broken sleep we slept the entire time as well. The third night she cried for 3 minutes with 2 night wakings but the wakings didn't require any parental intervention and each lasted around 2 min. Tonight on the 3rd night when I put her down she cried for about 30 seconds and went to sleep. Now I wish I had stuck to the CIO sooner. She's cried and no harm came to her. She's a more well rested and this happier version of herself. More importantly I feel like someone gave me my life back. I'd recommend this to all new parents who are skeptical d traditional CIO. It's a great alternative. The book also has a lot of great information on parents dealing with their emotions about sleep training. It's a lot of excellent easy to read information for exhausted parents who feel like there is no hope. Implement the strategies in the book and you will sleep again!
  • AMAZING!!!!!!!

I started using the "least cry" method that this book explains how to do on Monday and today is Friday and for the past two nights my 6 month old has slept through the night till 5 in the morning in his crib! I wasn't expecting this method to work at all. My baby is so extremely stubborn and hasn't slept very much since he was born. He hated to takes naps and at night was waking up 10 or more times! I was so exhausted and had tried nearly everything to get him to sleep. Nothing worked! I finally bought this book as my last resort because I didn't want to use the cry it out method it made me feel bad. The first night I thought my baby would take hours to fall asleep on bis own because I hadn't given him his binky or rocked him to sleep, to my surprise he only cried for 10 minutes with me checking on him before he fell asleep on his own! It's been less than a week and he now sleeps through the night and takes 3 naps a day! And at most will only cry or fuss for 10 minutes. This book is seriously amazing you have to follow EXACTLY what it tells you to do or it won't work but I would highly recommend it to ANYONE that has a baby that doesn't sleep. Saved my sanity...literally! :)
  • Not at all as advertised

After 5 nights of trying this, the only reason my son isn't crying is because he is hoarse. Maybe it will work for you, but there really isn't any substance to it. Lay the kid down, let them cry...there I just saved you ten bucks. What a crock.
  • Really works!

I was nervous of letting my baby cry it out, which is part of the solution in this book, but my baby only cried one night, for a few minutes, and has been sleeping 12 hours per night ever since, he is also a very happy baby, once they have a routine and schedule, you always know when they are tired or hingry... Before i never knew..sonow there is no reason to get fussy or cry about anything. This is a quick solution and if you stick to it and follow all the steps , it is quick and very easy...
