There are ugly truths
and pretty lies.
When I lost them
I chose neither.
I wrapped myself in silence.
My husband, my best friend, became a stranger who gave up.

He moved next door, and everything changed.
You think you know this story,
but you don't.
Be careful what you ask for because the answer may not come the way you think.

Your writing takes me several places that no other author has ever taken me! I read your series Before I Break and let me tell you I was floored then at how you can go deep within places that I know many are scared to go without crossing over into unknown, but let me tell you, YOU ROCKED IT! Now this! I am a Christian so I know a little about the spirit world and it does not scare me but it pleasantly surprised me that you went there in this book! I was and still am so happy you did, it was so refreshing! I will personally take a day off for every book you put out in a series for Carter and Davien!!! And you stole the show by having Elohim come in (genius 😇) PLEASE CONTINUE TO LET GOD USE YOU IT REACHES THOSE WHO NEED IT!!!
  • Great message, great story

*Received this book as an Advanced Readers Copy* I loved this story featuring Bryce and Chassidy! But Carter stole the show. Chassidy made me want to throw my iPad across the room multiple times, out of frustration, but the things that the book dealt with were real life situations. The story was way different from what I initially thought from the synopsis and title but the end result was well worth it. I really loved this book and it's message; it's very rare for an author of this genre to go where this book went. THANK YOU Portia Moore FOUR and a HALF stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
