This is the diary of Burn Rivers.

Bernadette Rivers has had enough. Always the fat friend and fat twin, she's ready to be more.
This summer she's going to lose the weight that's been holding her back.
As determined as she is, Burn knows she can't do it alone.
Enter Warren Grey; ex-high school hottie and stereotypical jock. He is everything that tormented her about high school but she knows he's exactly what she needs.
With a distant mother, a sister with poor taste, a polar opposite best friend and enough insecurities to fill the Grand Canyon, can she learn to love the skin she's in?

And then, of course, there's Fred.

  • Loved it until

I realized the sequel has been dangled in front of fans for over 2 years and counting. If this preorder doesn’t happen by end of year, after 3-4 changes of release date, I’m removing and petitioning Apple to stop carrying works by this author.
  • Great book

I usually get bored with books fast but I read this one out to its entirety! Each page just leaves you wanting more and the unexpected happens! I already preordered the second one!

Overall very relatable, funny, and warm. It was an epic journey of finding love within yourself and seeing the world through new eyes. Random punctuation, grammar, and spelling errors but nothing too distracting.

Overall, I enjoyed the story immensely. Loved jumping into the authors world. I would recommend if you are looking for a light read. Thank you for the journey and the perspective of Burn. She was a relatable and complex character, and it was great getting to know her.

This is by far one of the best books I’ve read in a very long time. One negative thing is that there were so many misspelled and incorrectly used words. I guess no proof reader.
